Saab Fun at Swedish Day
A mad dash colour run of this years show
Welcome back to the official Saab Stories newsletter!
Since we last spoke, we attended the annual car show Swedish Day, and also got in the can all that we need to complete a whole new solo feature of a very special model.
All about the Show

This years event was a celebration of Saab heritage, resilience and their everlasting impact on wider car culture.
As we have covered this event over the last two years, we decided this time it would be good to take a different approach to filming the proceedings - and as the sun was shining it was decided we would bring this little gem into the mix…
Mid last year we picked up this (it turns out) incredibly rare bicycle.
It’s a 2006 IKEA folding bike, designed and assembled by British based heritage bicycle manufacturers Raleigh. Acquired for only £40, we grabbed it without knowing its true value. We just saw IKEA and thought it would be a laugh to own and bring to Swedish Day!
What we discovered is that these are in fact rather rare and collectible bicycles, produced on a limited run for just one year only, as a Christmas gift to UK IKEA employees.
The bicycles were produced in a range of specifications, some with internal hub gearing, mudguards and luggage rack. The example we have here is the more traditional derailleur geared model, but still sports the original mudguards, chain guard and pannier rack.
Swedish Day 2026 was here, and it soon dawned on us that this plucky little bicycle would be the perfect way to get around the show…
Wheel of Saab - The Game!
Our aim this year was to capture and present our most VIVID episode to date! Showcasing the sunshine and spirit of the brand in a full spectrum of beautiful saab colour!
Using a randomly selecting colour ticker wheel, we let the wheel decide as we dashed around the show hunting down Saabs of every colour, chatting with their owners and just having fun!
We called this game Wheel of Saab! Like Wheel of Fortune, but outside, on a bicycle, with cars. Surprisingly, we think it worked!
Catch the Episode Below and let us know what you thought of the show!
Thanks for reading our newsletter and sticking with us on our journey to become the number one spot for Premium Saab Films on YouTube!
Next Episode…
A solo feature on a very rare Saab all the way from the Channel Islands…!
