Recently we released episode five of TalkSteer, welcoming aboard friend and fellow Saab convert Barry to hear his story of ownership, and his involvement with current Saab technology - a far cry from the vehicles we know and love, but all the same fascinating and world leading.

Within the episode we hear how Barry and his family moved to the UK from Panama, bringing with them their trusty (if thirsty!) Chevrolet Suburban.
The Suburban was a costly vehicle to run, so, on the hunt for something smaller and more wallet-friendly, Barry came across a beautiful 1998 Saab 93 convertible - sold unseen - in Holland.
A base level spec with no frills, but as with all Saab cars this one got under his skin, and soon after his wife and he chose to part with the Chevrolet, and become Saab owners full time. The rest is history.
Episode 5 delves into his personal story with not only the Saab car brand, but also his hands on experience with their naval and deep sea technologies.
